ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deviate a printing image in a sub-scanning direction in one dot unit of resolution as the function of an image forming device without increasing the load of a printing control device. SOLUTION: This multi-beam type electrophotographic printing apparatus is constituted of a multi-beam scanning optical part for forming an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body by a plurality of scanning beams during one scanning, a developing machine for bonding toner to the electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the photosensitive body to form a visible image, the image forming device constituted of a control means for controlling the multi-beam scanning optical part, and the printing control device for transmitting printing image data to the control means. This electrophotographic printing apparatus has a function for deviating a printing image in the sub-scanning direction in one dot unit of resolution by the image forming device.
