Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of occurrence of the case damaging a head when a substrate having a large deformation amount is sent to a coating unit, in a device coating on the substrate of a large area using an ink jet head. SOLUTION: In the coating device coating ink while continuously transferring the substrate, the device comprises that a plurality of ink coating heads are provided movably up and down in the width direction of the substrate, and the head is controlled so as not to move to horizontal direction and is transferred so that a substrate interval becomes longer than the length of a substrate transfer direction in the coating unit part coating the ink on the substrate.
