IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can perform exact exposure control at imaging of a static image. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus which images static images, calculates a light exposure by a present exposure in a control circuit 107, when a shutter button 110 is depressed. Then, it determines the light exposure, at the imaging of the static image, based on result of calculation obtained at an imaging time of a moving video, carries out exposure control by a mechanical shutter control circuit 108 and an imaging device drive circuit 109, performs accurate exposure control at the imaging of the static image, and images a high-definition static image.
