DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC MAIL DISTRIBUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for electronic mail distribution that can smoothly process electronic mail sent back as a delivery failure. SOLUTION: The electronic mail distributing device 2 is provided with a header setting means of including the user IDs of users 6 and 7 as distribution destinations in the header of the electronic mail, an electronic mail transmission means of transmitting the electronic mail to the users stored in an electronic mail address database 10, a retransmission means of retransmitting the electronic mail to a distribution destination to which the electronic mail can not be delivered for a prescribed number of times, and a transmission stop means of specifying the user as a transmission destination to which the electronic mail can not be delivered successively for the prescribed number of times or more according to the user ID of the undelivered electronic mail and stopping the transmission of the electronic mail to the user when the transmission ends in failure for the prescribed number of times or more.
