Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AGV operation system that suppresses delay of AGVs and improves operation efficiency thereof, and to provide an AGV control apparatus installed in the AGV operation system, a yard, and further an AGV operation method for operating the AGVs by utilizing the AGV operation system. SOLUTION: The AGV operation method controls the traveling of a plurality of AGVs which automatically travel in the yard 2 provided with a plurality of stations 251-255 for performing cargo handling work, and unit traveling zones 201-235 being divided plurally in a traveling direction and connecting the stations 251-255.
