VENTILATION SHUTTER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation shutter device having improved durability and reliable noise preventing performance in use over a long-time. SOLUTION: The ventilation shutter device 20 comprises a duct joint 21 to be connected to an exhaust port 12 for exhausting air from a room, a baffle plate 24 provided in the duct joint 21 and having an exhaust opening 25 formed in communication with the exhaust port 12, and a shutter 30 arranged in front of the baffle plate 24 with its upper part turnably journaled thereto for turning around its shaft 31 to open/close the exhaust opening 25. The shutter 30 can open the exhaust port 12 with the wind pressure of air exhausted from the exhaust port 12. The baffle plate 24 is inclined obliquely downward. A cushion material 26 is provided on the front face of the baffle plate 24 around the exhaust opening 25. The shutter 30 is suspended down from the shaft 31 of the shutter 30 with the dead weight.
