Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce noise caused by operation sound of a valve element in a compact pump using a diaphragm. SOLUTION: This compact pump 23 is constituted in such a way that a pump case 2 incorporating the diaphragms 4, 4 forming pump chambers 3, 3 and a motor case 20 incorporating a motor 13 are mutually connected, the pump case 2 and the motor case 20 are mutually communicated by a communicating hole 24, the diaphragms 4, 4 operate by driving the motor 13, and air sucked into the diaphragms 4, 4 is supplied through the communicating hole 24 from the motor case 20.
