Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently protecting a bottom-blowing tuyere by preventing fall-out of a mushroom, even in the case of changing gas for supplying into the tuyere without needing expensive construction cost. SOLUTION: When molten metal is refined by supplying the gas into the molten metal held in a molten metal refining furnace from a double tubular system gas blowing tuyere arranged at the furnace bottom of the molten metal refining furnace, the variation of gas pressure in the furnace in the case of changing the gas supplied into the inner tube and/or the outer tube of the tuyere is made to be within ± 30% of the pressure before gas-changing.
