Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic preparation which has a light, dry sense of use and does not become greasy in hot summer conditions even when a silk powder is compounded. SOLUTION: The cosmetic preparation contains a modified silk powder obtained by contacting a recrystallized silk powder having an α-structured fibroin with a lower alcohol and/or acetone to convert at least the surface of the powder into a β structure, adding a solvent to form a slurry and spray-drying the slurry.
