Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin foam molding excellent in lightweight properties, mechanical strength, heat insulation, heat resistance, soundproofness, damping properties, chemical resistance and recycling properties, and having a higher low-temperature impact resistance than a conventional foam molding. SOLUTION: This foam molding is manufactured by sandwiching a cylindrical molding 1 between a mold 5 and bringing the outer surface of the molding 1 into contact closely with the inner surface of the mold 5. This cylindrical molding 1 formed by forming a foam layer 3 expanded by extruding a foamable molten resin composition obtained by melting/kneading a polyethylene resin and a physical foaming agent from an annular die 2 into a low pressure zone. The apparent density of the foam layer 3 is 0.03 to 0.4 g/cm3, and at least one fusion peak by differential scanning calorimetry in the foam layer 3 is present at 125°C or above. In addition, the ratio of the sum of quantities of heat of fusion at the fusion peaks of 125°C or above to the sum of the quantities of heat of fusion at all of the fusion peaks, is 50 to 95%. Besides, the melt flow rate of the foam layer of the foam molding is 0.2 to 25 g/10 min and the melt tension is not less than 1.5 cN. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
