ELECTROSTATIC ATOMIZATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomization apparatus which can easily prevent the breakage of an electrode for electrification etc., when an air cap is fitted to an electrostatic atomization main body. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomization apparatus has the electrostatic atomization main body 10 having a discharge opening 40 for atomization, a discharged substance supply means, an air supply port 60, an air supply means, a terminal 14 for electrification, and voltage supply means, the air cap 20 which is held attachably/detachably to/from the main body 10 and has a high pressure chamber 62 with the air supply port 60 opened and an ejection port 64 for ejecting air from the chamber 62, and the electrode 30 for electrification which is held by the air cap 20, is contacted with the terminal 14 by fitting the air cap 20 to the main body 10, and electrifies the air in the chamber 62. By the atomization apparatus, since the air cap 20 and the electrode 30 are integrated, when the air cap 20 is fitted, there is no contact between the electrode 30 and the air cap 20, preventing the breakage of the apparatus.
