METHOD FOR GENERATING AUXILIARY DATA FOR CLAIM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time and labor required for generating auxiliary data which reduces the burden of a reader when the reader understands and analyzes the disclosure of a claim. SOLUTION: In this auxiliary data generating method, in which a summary sentence including primary words showing the framework of sentences in the claim is generated by computer processing, the qualified words and phrases of the primary words included in the summary sentence independently of the summary sentence is generated by the computer processing, the summary sentence is displayed in a first column, and the qualified words and phrases are displayed in a second column so as to clarify their corresponding relations with the primary words, the word data are collected from any portion other than the claim in application documents, or the like, and word recognition in the sentences in the claim is carried out by collating the word data with character strings in the sentences in the claim, and the computer processing in the request range of the claims is carried out by qualifying the primary words while referring to the word recognition.
