Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing method of specifying a linear conversion which maximizes the number of active S-boxes. SOLUTION: In the data processing method, a plurality of linear conversion candidates satisfying the restriction on a circuit for realizing the linear conversion candidates are specified (ST1, ST2, ST3) out of a plurality of linear conversion candidates, linear conversion processing is carried out on each of the specified linear conversion candidates based on a plurality of input data, the minimum value of the number of zeros (so-called active S-box) generated in the processing result is obtained (ST4-ST9), and the linear conversion candidate in which the minimum value becomes maximum is specified (ST10).
