Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe coating composition nontoxic to human bodies, having ant-proof, insect-proof, antiseptic effects and an ability to adsorb and remove causative substances of sick house syndrome and affording the comfortable living environment and to provide a method for coating the same. SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises an emulsion resin, charcoal powder and a boric acid compound. The method for coating comprises coating a wooden part having ≤1 m height from the ground surface of a building or a wooden part of a bathroom, a kitchen or a washroom or foundation concrete with the coating composition.
