SOLUTION: This electric vehicle 1 is equipped with: the flat electric motors 5 installed on the undersurface of a vehicular under-body 3; and drive wheels 4 driven by driving shafts 7 of the electric motors 5 through drive shafts 11. The electric motors each having a high output can be installed without sacrificing the internal space in the vehicle interior, and the outputs of the electric motors can be increased.
