Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying method for a liquid coating composition capable of preventing the change in surface states such as unevenness and degradation of film strength which are caused by the soaking of the coating liquid into a triacetyl cellulose (TAC) base when the coating liquid of organic solvent type is applied on the TAC base. SOLUTION: In this drying method for the liquid coating composition, the liquid coating composition containing a volatile solvent is applied to a film base containing the TAC and is dried. Therein, drying treatment of the film base is started within 10 sec after the liquid coating composition is applied to the film base and the ratio of remaining solvent amount to binder amount on the applied film surface is set to be ≤30% within 30 sec after the application.
