Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device of a medical appliance which supports in the position even if the medical appliance is moved, is hard to collide with other medical appliances, and can improve the maneuverability. SOLUTION: A holding means which keeps a retentive portion 24 movable comprises a first arm 9 fixed on an installation section 2 and a second arm 10 which is connected to this first arm 9 and holds the retentive portion 24, provides a moving mechanism 11 which consists of two or more arm units and joint sections and a balance mechanism 19 which counterbalances the weight of an endoscope 25, moves the retentive portion 24 which includes the endoscope 25 to an arbitrary position, and stands still at the position.
