OVERHEAD WIRE SURFACE VIEWING MEANS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead wire surface viewing means which has high working efficiency and can remove work errors by enabling a user to clearly check the indication, etc. of an overhead wire. SOLUTION: This means possesses a telescopic operating rod 1 which can be extended to a specified length, a viewing head 2 which is mounted on the tip side of the operating rod 1 so as to take the photograph of the overhead wire W by a camera 4, and a display means which projects the image of the camera 4. The viewing head 2 is equipped with a body 9, which has an overhead wire hooking means 7 being shaped to hook on the overhead wire W, a hood member 10 which is made of opaque material and is mounted on the main body 9 and is shaped to externally fit on the overhead wire W, the camera 4 which is mounted on the food member 10, and an illuminator which is mounted on the food member 10 so as to illuminate the overhead wire W.
