LID ATTACHING DEVICE FOR CUP TYPE AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid attaching device for a cup type automatic vending machine capable of properly and certainly attaching a detachable lid to a drink-containing cup. SOLUTION: This lid attaching device 1 for the cup type automatic vending machine attaching the lid L to the drink-containing cup C at the sales time has: lid feeding means 4, 7 feeding the lid L and placing the lid L on the cup C; a lid holding means having a lid pressing spring 63 with elasticity, and holding the lid L on the cup C by the elasticity of the lid pressing spring 63 by abutting the lid pressing spring 63 onto a central part of the lid L placed on the cup C from above; and a lid attaching means having a roller 61, and attaching the lid L to the cup C by pressing a peripheral part of the lid L from above by the roller 61 while rotating the roller 61 along the peripheral part of the lid L held on the cup C.
