APPARATUS FOR MEASURING CONCENTRATION OF WATER POLLUTION COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple concentration measurement apparatus, which can correctly and automatically perform the shaking operation with a coloring reagent or the standstill operation for the coloring reaction, utilizing a timer function, and which can efficiently perform the measurement in a short time, even when the number of samples is large, in obtaining the concentration of a water pollution component by the absorbance measurement. SOLUTION: The timer starts the counting of the standstill time, for the plurality of samples 5 in which the coloring reagent is collectively mixed and shaken, when the first sample 5 is set in a measurement room 3, and an absorbance detector 2 performs the absorbance measurement of the first sample, simultaneously with the completion of the counting. After the second sample is subsequently substituted, only the absorbance of the samples from the second to the last is serially measured, without counting the shaking time and the standstill time.
