Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak diffusion preventing structure capable of preventing diffusion of leak of low-temperature liquefied gas in the circumference in simple structure. SOLUTION: This leak diffusion preventing structure 6 prevents diffusion of leak of low-temperature liquefied gas in piping from a gap 2c between a pair of flanges 2a and 2b. It is provided with a flexible seal member 10 engaged on outer circumferential surfaces of the flanges 2a and 2b to close the gap 2c, a cover member 11 of a metal thin plate to cover the surface of the seal member 10, and a band member 12 to tightly push the seal member 10 to the outer circumferential surface of the flanges 2a and 2b to hold it through the cover member 11.
