EXPANDABLE STRUCTURE OF WAIST OF TROUSERS OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and expandable structure of the waist of trousers or the like, making the appearance and wearing feeling of the trousers similar to those of ordinary ones, and appropriately following the expansion and contraction of the waist. SOLUTION: The elastic structure of the waist of trousers or the like is obtained as follows: dividing the waist belt of the trousers or the like into a front side belt and a back side belt; fixing a base part of an elastic rubber body arranged at the inside part of the front side belt on the front side belt; passing a pulling-out piece joining to the free end part of the rubber body through a slit formed at the front side belt to pull it out; fixing the front end part of the pulling-out piece to the back side belt; fixing a base part of elastic rubber body arranged at the inside part of the back side belt on the back side belt; pulling out the pulling-out piece joining to the free end part of the rubber body through a slit formed at the back side belt; and fixing the front end part of the pulling-out piece to the front side belt so that the front side belt and the back side belt can be resiliently and relatively movable.
