CORE STRUCTURE FOR RUN FLAT WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core structure for a run flat wheel by which the tie-down of the core to a rim is improved, and which solves the problem of the core structure of a conventional run flat wheel. SOLUTION: In this core structure of the run flat wheel, the core 1 which is constituted in such a manner that core pieces being divided into a plurality in the wheel peripheral direction are connected in the wheel peripheral direction is set in a tire by making the vertical direction of the core correspond to the wheel radial direction, and the width direction of the core correspond to the wheel axial direction, and is fitted in the wheel. In addition, on the core 1 is provided with a vertical groove 10 which extends in the wheel peripheral direction, of which the upper side is open, and of which the lower end is closed by a groove bottom wall is provided.
