Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost mechanism for preventing disconnection of winding when a motor is overloaded. SOLUTION: Independently from a brush spring 32, a brush drive member 34 is provided to extend from the operating face 30b of a brush 30 toward the spring bearing surface. The brush drive member 34 is made of a shape memory alloy and has a rigidity lower than that of the brush spring 32. Furthermore, the brush drive member 34 is arranged to contract toward the spring bearing surface when the brush 30 reaches a specified temperature thus separating the brush 30 from a commutator 20 while resisting against the spring force of the brush spring 32.
