VIBRATION MOTOR FRAME, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND VIBRATION MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame of a vibration motor, installed in a cellular phone or the like of which the frame obviates a process of installing a vibration transmitting medium in a motor body, allows vibration transmitting medium molding to be simplified, and enables reduction in the thickness and the weight of the vibration transmitting medium. SOLUTION: The frame is for housing the drive member of a vibration motor, and a vibration transmitting body composed of a polymeric material is molded on the circumferential surface of a frame base substrate. According to the vibration motor frame, the process in which the vibration transmitting body is attached to the motor body is unnecessary, and a number of man-hours for mounting the motor can be reduced. Since it is unnecessary to form slits in the vibration transmitting body, unlike in the conventional holders, molding can be simplified, and the strength of the vibration transmitting body can be enhanced and the thickness and the weight of the vibration transmitting body can be reduced.
