OPTICAL FIBER WIRING BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber wiring board in which an optical fiber extends from a position separate from the surface of a substrate so as to gradually approach the substrate and its succeeding portion wired on the substrate is protected. SOLUTION: The optical fiber wiring board 10 is provided with the substrate 11, the optical fiber 18 extending from a position separate from the surface of the substrate 11 so as to gradually approach the substrate 11 and having a succeeding portion wired on the substrate 11, a cover material 16 so provided as to cover the optical fiber wiring side of the substrate 11 from over the optical fiber 18. Between the substrate 11 at the position corresponding to the part of the optical fiber 18 being separate from the surface of the substrate 11 and the cover material 16, a spacer 17 which forms a space between them and resists pressures to the optical fiber 18 from the outside is interposed.
