Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a waterless lithographic printing plate which hardly causes decrease in the dye concentration and production of sludge even when a large number of plates are treated and yields the plate showing stable plate inspection properties, and to provide a dyeing liquid to be used for the method. SOLUTION: The dyeing liquid to be used to dye the image line part in a waterless lithographic printing plate contains one or more kinds selected from dipropyleneglycol monoalkylether or tripropyleneglycol monoalylether expressed by general formula (1): R1-(OCH2CH(CH3))n-OH and one or more kinds selected from anionic surfactants expressed by formula (2): R2-O-M-X. In formula (1), R1represents CH3-, C2H5-, C3H7- or C4H9- and n is 2 to 3. In formula (2), R2is a 3 to 30C branched alkyl group or alkenyl group, M represents an ethylene oxide unit and/or a propylene oxide unit with 0 to 30 repetition number, and X represents -SO3Na, -SO3NH4, -PO3Na2, -COONa or -COOK.
