Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope-toe structure of a river which prevents scouring by constructing the revetment of a river, ensures the strength of the revetment, and avoids an adverse effect on an ecosystem of running-up fish. SOLUTION: Continuous hollow structures (20) are arranged along the lower edge of a bank slope of the river, and openings (27) having sizes that allow fish to enter the same are formed at appropriate locations (e.g. in a side surface on a water-flowing side) of the continuous structures. Each continuous structure is almost trapezoidal in cross section, for instance, and it is preferred that the structure has an inclined wall surface expanding from an upper bed toward a bottom end on a river slope side. On the other hand, a wall surface on a non-slope side, i.e. on the water flowing side, can be an almost vertical wall surface from the upper bed to the bottom end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
