Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for aluminum alloy forging which does not cause lapping of black film into the forged product and gives good product yield, when a product with three dimensionally complicated shape such as a warped or waved one is forged. SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy cast material half-processed in advance by continuous casting is cut in a slant angle to the casting direction, and a sliced material prepared is forged as a work piece with a metal die having the warped or waved face. A cross-sectional shape of the cast material is made similar to that of the target product. In this process a cast material with a smaller cross section can be used as a forging work piece so that it improves production yield, enables use of a work piece for forging with less structural defect and improves mechanical properties and reliability of the forged product.
