Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging crane device capable of imaging a wide range while maintaining favorable operability, and achieving compactness and light weight to realize compact structure, and an imaging method using that. SOLUTION: An arm 10 provided on a support 2 is extended/contracted to adjust distance between an imaging means 5 installed on one end side of an arm and a subject, and images of the subject are picked up by the imaging means in this imaging crane device 1. It is provided with a movable member provided on the other end side of the arm movable in opposing directions to an extension direction and a contraction direction of the arm, a counterbalance 7 installed on the movable member, and a drive means 8 to move the movable member 6 in accordance with extension/contraction action of the arm to take weight balance between the counterbalance and the imaging means.
