Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for high-luminance illuminator particles improved in crystallinity and a high-luminance illuminator obtained thereby. SOLUTION: In producing the high-luminance illuminator such as BaMgAl10O17:Eu(BAM), an acid is added to an aqueous solution containing an aluminum alcoholate and water-soluble compounds of barium, magnesium, and europium; then, the solution is heated at about 900°C to be temporarily fired; and the resultant temporarily fired product is regularly fired at 1,400°C or higher. Thus, fine spherical particles of BAM with a pure phase and an improved crystallinity are produced. Since the BAM has an improved crystallinity, its thermal deterioration and VUV (vacuum UV) deterioration can be decreased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
