WIRE FOR INTERDENTAL BRUSH, AND INTERDENTAL BRUSH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire for interdental brush which is excellent in biocompatibility, and in addition, suppresses the propagation of germs, and therefore, has deodorizing property, and also, is hygienically excellent, and an interdental brush using the wire for interdental brush. SOLUTION: This wire for interdental brush is equipped with a coating layer and granular charcoal at least a part of which is exposed from the coating layer on the metal wire surface. Thus, the germ propagation suppressing effect or the like of the wire for interdental brush can be increased by utilizing the adsorbing/decomposing action for germs (components for odors and contamination) owned by charcoal. Also, by covering the metal surface with the coating layer, the elution of metal ions unsuitable for the living body can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
