Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily, inexpensively and safely dismantling flanges attached to an electrophotographic photoreceptor body without breaking the photoreceptor body in order to reuse the used electrophotographic photoreceptor and the flanges attached thereto. SOLUTION: The method for dismantling the flanges attached to the electrophotographic photoreceptor by bonding, press fitting or combination thereof to both ends of the electrophotographic photoreceptor consisting of a cylindrical metallic substrate removes the flanges from the electrophotographic photoreceptor by blowing low-temperature compressed air near to the flanges or the contact portions of the electrophotographic photoreceptor thereby cooling the flanges.
