Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic apparatus capable of efficiently detecting a very small amount of a specimen in the shortest possible time, and a detection method for a living body related substance using the same. SOLUTION: This electrophoretic apparatus includes a constitution comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, a semipermeable membrane, a biochip and a specimen solution tank. The first electrode, the semipermeable membrane and the biochip form a laminated structure successively and the specimen solution tank having a predetermined volume is formed between the biochip and the second electrode. Further, the electrophoretic apparatus includes the first electrode, the second electrode, the semipermeable membrane, the biochip, the specimen solution tank, and the semipermeable membrane and the biochip form a laminated structure. A buffer solution tank having a predetermined volume is formed between the first electrode and the semipermeable membrane and the specimen solution tank having a predetermined volume is formed between the biochip and the second electrode.
