Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal gasket of S-shaped section and a sealing construction fitted therewith to exhibit a high sealing performance stably by maintaining the elastic restoring characteristic even if the fastening load is high. SOLUTION: The metal gasket is formed in a dual structure such that two ring-shaped gasket members 10a and 10b having S-shaped longitudinal section are overlapped one over the other, wherein the outer gasket member 10a and the inner gasket member 10b are joined together by the upper edges 11d and 21d and the lower edges 12d and 22d, respectively.
