RADIAL TIRE CONTAINING AIR FOR AIRCRAFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire containing air for aircraft wherein durability of the belt layer is increased by suppressing the occurrence or the growth of separations in the belt layer. SOLUTION: This radial tire containing air for aircraft has a plurality of the belt layers comprising an organic fiber cord. In the radial tire, the belt layer 2a on the outermost layer is formed in such a manner that one or a plurality of cords which are lengthened and arranged are buried in a rubber to form a string-shape or band-shape strip material 3, and the strip material 3 is wound in the tire peripheral direction EE' in a manner to be folded back at both ends in the belt layer width direction while tilting the strip material 3 to the tire peripheral direction EE'. A distance between cords LW of the belt layer 2a on the outermost layer is set to be 0.3 times or higher of the cord diameter CD. At the same time, a distance between cords for the belt layer which is arranged on the internal side of the belt layer 2a on the outermost layer is set to be not more than the distance between cords of the belt layer on the outermost layer.
