Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for treating spray booth water capable of imparting the mist of a coating material in the water with non-adhesive effect and dispersing effect by addition of only a very small amount thereof to the spray booth water or circulating water, and to provide a method for treating the spray booth water or the circulating water. SOLUTION: At least one compound selected from polycarbodiimide compounds (e.g., water-soluble polycarbodiimide resin) is added to the spray booth water in a concentration of 0.001 to 50 g/l.
