SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PACKET COMMUNICATION, AND PROTOCOL CONVERSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform quick dealings to a radio link fault such as congestion by reflecting network management information to existing TCP/IP protocol control. SOLUTION: An SNMP-protocol conversion manager device having an SNMP manager function converts and processes MIB (Management Information Base) from each radio repeater node device having an SNMP agent as network management information so as to be used as the TCP/IP protocol control. A protocol control instruction message is transmitted toward a protocol control device on a path on the occurrence of the link fault, based on information on devices to be monitored when the radio link fault is detected from the network management information. The protocol control device which has received the instruction message performs the protocol control when transferring packets of the TCP/IP corresponding to the protocol control instruction.
