Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic synthesis method capable of synthesizing a percarbonic acid compound at a high electric current efficiency and an electrolytic synthesis cell used therefor. SOLUTION: A percarbonic acid compound is synthesized by oxidizing an electrolytic solution 2 containing carbonate ions or bicarbonate ions by using an anode 3 having conductive diamond as an anode substance. Since the water electrolysis overpotential of the conductive diamond anode is high, oxygen generation due to water electrolysis hardly occurs, thus efficiently causing the formation of a percarbonic acid compound due to the anode oxidation of carbonate ions or bicarbonate ions.
