POLYESTER COMPOSITION AND HOLLOW MOLDING, SHEET AND ORIENTED FILM EACH COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition, hollow moldings, sheets and oriented films each excellent in crystallization-controlling properties in melt molding, transparency in long time continuous molding and thermal dimensional stability. SOLUTION: The polyester composition is obtained by compounding polyester chips (A) essentially comprising ethylene terephthalate units, 0.1-300 ppm polyester fine (B), 0.1 ppb to 1,000 ppm one or more resin selected from polyolefin resins, polyamide resins, polyacetal resin and polybutylene terephthalate resin, wherein, in infrared absorption spectrum, the integrated intensity ratio As of absorption band of the trans structure to the gauche structure of carbon-carbon bond of the ethylene glycol unit is 5.50-9.00 on the surface of the chip and As/Ac ratio of the integrated intensity ratio As to an integrated intensity ratio Ac at the center of the chip is 0.70-1.00.
