Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized drive unit for rotation which suppresses the torsion of a rotating shaft and can be assembled easily. SOLUTION: The drive unit 15 for rotation is provided with a stepping motor 22, a first gear case 16 and a second gear case 17 which perform pivotally accommodate a driving gear 18 or the like. In the first gear case 16, a bearing 32 for a rotating shaft is formed to which the rotating shaft 31 of the stepping motor 22 is inserted wherein the driving gear 18 is fixed. The axial direction of the rotating shaft 31 is fixed by using an inner motor bearing 33 which is installed to the stepping motor 22 and the bearing 32, and the stepping motor 22 is so fixed with the external side 25a of a shallow bottom 25 that the rotating shaft 31 is pivotally supported.
