METHOD FOR FORMING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for efficiently controlling a consumer electronic product which is remotely controllable in a wireless mode by an inexpensive attachment to a home computer. SOLUTION: The method and apparatus for remotely controlling an electronic device includes one or a plurality of processing units, a memory system, one or a plurality of input/output control devices for controlling input/output devices such as a keyboard, a mouse, a display device and a communication adapter, a bus for connecting the processing units, the memory system and the input/output control devices, one or a plurality of converters for converting electronic signals into wireless communication signals, and one or a plurality of application programs which can be executed by the processing units for remotely controlling one or a plurality of electronic devices by controlling generation and transmission of the wireless communication signals.
