Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital television broadcast receiver, avoiding a user from uncomfortable feeling on the occurrence of a deteriorated receiving condition by standing still or suspending block noise and explosion sound before emerging. SOLUTION: A receiver 1 includes an RF/IF processor 3, a demodulation/separation processor 4, and a decoder 5. The receiver 1 also includes a freeze processing means 6 for making freeze control to stand still or suspend a video/audio/decoder signal transmitted from the decoder 5 based on an error signal ER output from the demodulation/separation processor 4.
