Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly display an index image for displaying in a list a plurality of image data which are recorded in a recording medium. SOLUTION: A record-reproducing apparatus 1 generates the index image including reduced images scaling down a plurality of image data as a single file and records the index image onto a CD-R 2. Also, the record reproducing apparatus 1 displays the index image recorded on the CD-R 2 to a display unit 17, and enables acquiring the corresponding image data from the CD-R 2 based on a link file 3, by making a reduced image to be selected and specified.
