Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample support body not having a disadvantage of using a laser source, which is strong and expensive in many cases, to detect a substrate satisfactorily, and a device using the support body. SOLUTION: In this sample support body constituted to support a sample to be detected and/or analyzed by a photothermal detection method using an irradiation pump beam for irradiating the sample and a detecting and/or analyzing probe beam, the sample support body is provided with a substrate for supporting a stack of a dielectric thin layer for forming a Brag mirror and for supporting the sample thereon, and the stack of the dielectric thin layer is used for reflecting the pump beam reaching to the the stack.
