EMBEDDED TYPE GAS PLUG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjustably set the length of a release button (24) irrespective of the depth in a gas valve: in the buried gas valve constituting a gas valve main body (2) embedded in a predetermined depth from an opening (50) formed on a wall (5) or on the floor having a plug (20) connecting a socket thereto; a release button (24) interlinked with a release lever for detaching the socket from the plug (20), and a decorative plate (10) provided on the surface of the wall (5) or the floor for closing the opening (50), with a first opening window portion (10a) capable of inserting the socket at the position corresponding to the plug (20) and a second opening window portion (10b) at the position corresponding to the release button (24). SOLUTION: A door plate (11) capable of closing/opening the first and the second window portions (10a), (10b) is provided at the decorative plate (10). A plane including peripheries of the first and the second window portions (10a), (10b) opposite to the back side of the closed door plate (11) is set at a reference level, and the release button (24) is adjustable in its length in the advancing/retracting direction such that the forward end face of it corresponds to the reference level.
