Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully secure functions of a brake booster and fully achieve an aim of idle stop by varying a reference pressure in the brake booster used for determining whether idle stop should be forcibly released or not in accordance with the road gradient. SOLUTION: In an idle stop vehicle 1, an engine 10 is automatically stopped when an engine stop condition is established at stop of the vehicle, and the engine 10 is automatically started when the engine start condition is established after that. The brake booster 72 with the usage of an intake negative pressure of the engine 10 is provided between a brake pedal 71 and a master cylinder 73, and the engine 10 is forcibly started when the negative pressure introduced into the brake booster 72 at automatic stop of the engine 10 exceeds a predetermined reference pressure.
