HANDLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device which guarantees securely a smooth motion, improves the mechanical strength without increase of the number of parts, and does not impair the external appearance. SOLUTION: The handle device has a bracket 2 fixed to the door panel 12 of a vehicle, a handle 3 having a hand hook 7 and a hand arm 8, a shaft 4 fitted to the handle arm 8 and the bracket 2, and a return spring 5 wound around on the shaft 4 to urge the handle 3 in the initial position direction. In a handle device 1 in which the door lock device is controlled by operating the handle 3, the handle arm 8 has a rod connection part 8d connecting to the door lock rod 16 connected to the door lock device, and the rod connection part 8d is extended to the outside of the vehicle width direction and a rib 8c extending the rod connection part 8d to the outside of the vehicle breadthwise direction and supporting the rod connection part 8d is formed.
