Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a highly pure tantalum metal and/or niobium compound from a by-product mixed salt and/or its solution containing at least either sodium fluoride or potassium fluoride and at least one compound selected from among tantalum compounds and niobium compounds. SOLUTION: In a method for recovering the tantalum compound and/or the niobium compound, an ammonia compound and/or a hydrazine compound is added to the by-product mixed salt and/or its solution, followed by solid-liquid separation.
