Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve brake control accuracy by accurately calculating wheel speed by absorbing an error as much as possible, even when the error occurs on a wheel speed sensor side. SOLUTION: When both a standing pulse edge and a falling pulse edge occur, a wheel speed is calculated using both pulse edges. When one of the pulse edges does not occur, the wheel speed is calculated using both pulse edges while selecting the lower value of a previously calculated value and a calculated value obtained by assuming that the non-occurring pulse edge occurs once within a temporary period. When either of the pulse edges does not occur, the lower value of the minimum of two calculated values obtained assuming that one pulse edge occurs only once within a temporary period and the calculated value obtained assuming that each of both pulse edges occurs once within the temporary period, and the previous calculated value of the wheel speed is selected as the wheel speed.
